Monitoring Design
Every monitoring project has its own requirements. We design the measurement system to match the specific conditions, objectives and accuracy requirements of the project.
We help you select the appropriate measurement technology and develop an efficient sensor layout with the required accuracy, resolution and measurement interval. Where appropriate, fibre optic sensing can be combined with conventional monitoring systems.
Installation
We install the measurement system on site, particularly for smaller projects. For larger projects with repetitive installation procedures, we train the teams of our monitoring or construction partners and supervise the installation throughout the project.
Measurements
After installation, we carry out periodic measurements and provide the processed measurement data together with a concise report.
For permanent or automated monitoring systems, measurement units can also be rented or purchased and installed directly on site.
Interpretation
Measurement data only becomes useful when it can be interpreted in the context of the project. Our geotechnical and civil engineering background allows us to assess monitoring data and translate measurements into meaningful engineering conclusions.
Conventional measurements
Depending on the project, conventional measurement systems can complement or be combined with fibre optic sensing.
